At the company’s 41st annual general meeting of Reliance Jio, Chairman Mukesh Ambani disclosed his plan about their 4G LET services which is set to launch in December this year.

Mukesh Ambani announced on 11 January in a summit, that they are going to invest 100,000 crores in the coming 12-18 months across businesses. He also said that India is going to be the world’s best-rising economy. This investment will contribute to the ‘Make in India & Digital India initiatives’. This Vibrant Gujrat summit held in Gandhinagar, Gujrat and was attended by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi as well as world’s leaders & top captains of Industries.

According to Ambani, the company is ready to serve all the 29 states of India and it will also cover 80% of the population of India after the launching which has a goal to cover up 100% population within 3 years.

Reliance Jio’s 4G LTE Smartphones price will be Rs. 4000 which supports 4G services and partnering with different handset makers. The company is now working with Samsung, Huawei, ZTE and others smartphones.

Reliance Jio has been planned to provide 4G services with using LTE Technology in 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 2300 MHz bands. Apart from the nationwide spectrum in the 2,300 MHz band, Reliance also embraces the 800 MHz and 1,800 MHz bands in 20 out of the 22 country’s telecom circles.

Mukesh Ambani also announced an ambitious plan to enlarge the retail business from 200 to 900 cities next year. This year Reliance Industry Ltd will enlarge their network with a discriminated e-commerce model which will join over with the offline and online retails. The joint e-commerce business & retail will raise up to 30-35% per annum.

According to Ambani, primarily Jio 4G will be revealed in 5000 towns and 215,000 villages but finally, its network will reach over 600,000 villages in all over the country.
