Huawei Honor 7i launched with the 13 MP rotating camera
Chinese telecommunications Huawei launched a new smartphone Huawei Honor 7i. The new Honor series handset is now available for the pre-orders in China. The price of the Honor 7i is CNY 1,599 (approximately INR 16,500). The storage capacity of the Smartphone is 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. Yet, Huawei has no plan to reveal this handset outside the China.
The best part of the Huawei Honor 7i is the rotating rear camera that supports 13 MP, which can flip up to 180 degrees to capture the image of front facing. Another highlighting feature is the fingerprint scanner, which is present at the side panel of the phone. The company publicizes it as an ‘industry’s first’ and ‘smallest fingerprint module’.
Huawei clarify that this fingerprint scanner of the Honor 7i featured by a ‘second-generation fingerprint identification chip solution’, which include features like’ screen unlock by fingerprint scanning’ and stock up documents safe by the fingerprint scan.
Other features include, 5.3 inches display with full HD 1080X1920 pixels. It supports a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The processor is clocked around 1.5 GHz quad-core+ 1.2 GHz quad-core. The phone also supports up to 32 GB expandable memory via a microSD card.
The Honor 7i supports dual SIM and it is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Smartphone also runs Emotion UI 3.1. The connectivity options of the phone include 3G/4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Wi-Fi. The 3100mAh battery powers it. The weight of the phone is 160 grams while the measurement includes 141.6×71.2×7.8mm.
