Microsoft’s Surface Hub Gets Price Hike of Up To $2000
The Surface Hub video conferencing system from Microsoft will be costlier than its actual cost. Microsoft announced in August that the cost of 55” Surface Hub is expected to be $6999 and 84” would cross $19999. Recently, the executives of the company confirmed in an email that the cost of the systems would be $8999 and $21999. Those customers who placed orders in older prices would be safe from the price hike. The systems running the custom built of Windows 10 has customized multi-touch and digital ink-enabled displays and they all are preassembled.
Both models of Surface Hub include custom-designed variants of Sky for Business, OneNote, and Microsoft Office apps. They are also able to run apps of Universal Windows from the Windows Store. It has also included a wireless keyboard and 2 styluses. The officials have not revealed the reasons for increasing the prices. The manufacturing plan is being finalized to provide the best experience.
