Researchers have discovered that there is a swiftkey keyboard feature in Samsung Galaxy mobile devices such as the Note 5. It is a pre-installed feature that can be easily hacked to find out the vital information of users. So it’s a bad news of Samsung Galaxy users that they can be easily spied on. It’s an in built capability of the phones which can represent you to the critical cyber- security risk.

This swiftkey keyboard feature has been pre-installed in more than 600 million Samsung Galaxy devices from S3 to the newly version S6. It is saying that these devices can easily be hacked to give the essential information about the user. Ryan Welton claimed about this at London in Black Hat Security Conference. He is a researcher, working with a firm of cyber-security named NowSecure.

As per the information of reports, this flaw allows to hackers to spy on Samsung Galaxy users easily and it can access by remotely sensors and also by some resources such as GPS, Microphone and Camera.

Additional reports says that the hackers can secretively install nasty applications & fiddle with how convinced applications work. The hackers can also spy on messages & phone calls and endeavour to access susceptible personal data such as text messages and images etc.

Researchers of NowSecure firm reportedly told Samsung in November about the exposure but nothing was fixed even now. So they made the researches publicly as CNN Money reported.

Andrew Hoog, CEO of NowSecure report quoted this exposure stood at 8.3 on a well-developed system which ranks cyber-security nuisance from 1-10.

Joe Braid, chief marketing officer of SwiftKey is saying that unfortunately they were made alert of the issue only on Tuesday. He also said that they are working as hard as probable to support Samsung and also trying to help in fix the issue.

Samsung informed the media that they are taking very seriously about these emerging threats and also commit to provide the latest in the security of mobiles.
