Nest Labs of Goggle rolled out an overhaul of its streak line which includes a new version of smoke alarm and home security camera. It’s pushing up the Web Company more profound into technologies for the smart homes.

Maxime Veron, head of Nest hardware product marketing said in an event at San Francisco that since Nest was acquired by Google last year there are some of the biggest updates including a camera of the cost of $US 199 and a video management & storage service that cost $US 19 per month. It also slightly down about its Protect smoke alarm adding some more features to the specific application and put it in a new version within its thermostat.

Tony Fadell, co-founder of Nest labs said that the company has shipping with millions of devices. He seems double to triple-digit growth while it was declining to specific numbers. He also said that the partnerships with the insurance companies and Nest’s Protect products can be the key in the increment of future proceeds.

Fadell said in an interview by referring the Internet Of Things that made a link between software & physical objects and they have been doing it from a long time than anyone else and they want to prove that it takes to actually do it appropriately because now everyone is talking about connected-this and IOT-that.

Google’s nest team is discharging resources into its product streak to persuade consumers that they need to modernize their house gear with connected and intelligent devices as it competes with adversaries such as Apple Inc. & Samsung Electronics Co.

After the joining of Nest with Google, the company acquired security start-up i.e. Dropcam and it s cost up to $US550 million. It was the offering to help round out last year. Dropcam was founded in 2009 that let the users to place these cameras throughout a house for recording & live-viewing which also includes an option of night vision.

The new Camera of Nest is based on the product of Dropcam but is also slightly down and includes some new features like higher resolution and better night vision. It is coming with a monthly plan which starts at $US10 and it also includes a video history of 10 or 30 days. It’s a simpler way to search images in the footage and the tool is helping to highlight those areas on which the camera should focus.

The other Product of Nest is Smoke Alarm is now become thinner and also includes various features to make sure automatically about its working during to avoid false warnings.

Nest is doing partnership with home insurance companies including Liberty Mutual Insurance & American Family Insurance with it’s protect product.
