Google’s Project Tango Comes Alive with ‘Star Wars’ Characters

Trixi Studios has just uploaded a YouTube video which is testing out the Project Tango of Google. It is a mixed reality platform that works with characters of Star Wars universe. The video shows a storm-trooper, BB-8, and Boba Fett walking and interacting in the real environment. Project Tango detects original objects and allows computerized characters to know where they are. They give augmented reality another title “Mixed Reality”. It is among the big leaps that tech giants like Magic Leap, Microsoft and Google are working on. This tech is likely to be seen in consumer devices by the end of 2016 and this market is predicted to grow up by $150 billion by the year 2020. The platform mixes imaging and gaming to give amazing digital experience to interact with your favorite characters.
