First Apple smartwatch has landed in South Korea at one of the most competitive markets of the world on Friday. Its draws an excellent response from fans, but market analysts emit doubt on its long-term success there by citing a strong challenge from local trademarks.

The watch landed in six other more countries on Friday includes Singapore & Taiwan. After two months of its preliminary launch in nine countries includes the China, United States, and Japan. The device has verified trendy in those markets, supposedly selling about 2.8 million units throughout the June.

However, market analysts said that the expensive Apple smartwatch would be a momentary hit in South Korea may be among hardcore Apple fans while some other customer may support less expensive brands produced by LG and Samsung.

Doh Hyun-Woo, an analyst of Mirae Asset Securities, told AFP that due to the well-built brand allegiance among iPhone users, Apple smartwatch will sell here to some extent but the market was yet to be in its immaturity so that the Apple’s high-end goods are deluxe to make any indentation on the local market.
