Hyundai unveiled an app for Apple watch that is a Blue Inc App. With the help of this App, you can start or unlock your Hyundai car by just the voice commands like unlock my car or start my car without using your hands. Formerly Blue Inc App was only available for smart watches or android smartwatches.

Besides these unlocking & locking and starting & stopping the engine of the car, you can also locate your car in the parking a lot by the flash lighting or beeping the horn, or by mapping it by your Apple smartwatch. The app also comprises the vehicle status check and parking meter reminder.

BMW, Volkswagen, and some others are also trying to add this type of app to the Apple smartwatch, but Hyundai believes that it is the first mass-market brand that hits the market of cars.

Frank Ferrara, executive vice president of Hyundai Motor America said in a statement that by giving customers more conducts to attach with their cars is what it is all about it.

This app for watch is available free for download via Apple’s App Store that will be able to control the features on all Hyundai models equipped with the first and second-generation Blue Link technology, which also includes the Genesis, Azera, and Sonata models. The 2012 Sonata was the first Hyundai to get Blue Link capability.

With the enhancement of the Blue Link system also includes an engine timer, automatic collision notification, climate control and some other features also added to the remote-start function and destination search which is powered by Google. It allows users to look up an address on their smartphone and send it to the navigation system of the vehicle. These features are not necessarily available for use as an app of a smart watch.
