The notifications will informing them that the Windows 10 is ready to install. It will warn you before proceeding or avoid installing if your device or hardware is not compatible with the upgrade.

Apart from this, the company also opened up its Media Creation Tool for Windows 10. With the help of this tool, the users of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 can create USB disks and ISO disk images, which can be useful to install Windows 10 on other systems. People who cannot us the Media creation tool like Mac OS X and Windows XP will get direct links from ISO downloads so that they can also build up installation media.

The upgrade is free for the users of Windows 7 and Windows 8 only for a limited time-period that is one year. They can update their Window from Wednesday, 29 July 2015 until 29 July 2016. After this time period, they have to pay an extra charge to upgrade their older systems.

As with all operating systems, it is exclusively probable that some users will meet viruses with Windows 10 when it first installed.
